Bespoke Staircase Transformation
This Staircase was designed and created by Surefix Direct Ltd. Transforming and rebuilding a standard contractor staircase we built out to create clean uninterrupted sight lines. We designed and manufacturerd our own stained American White Oak Flooring and Stair treads which were laid with stainless steel taco's to the feature corner, stainless steel stair nosings and piller caps and is subtly lit with inset LED's. The toughened 12.5mm glass has a polished top edge, the inspiration for the staircase and exposed top edge of the glass was to see the picture on the back wall from the hall below without the interuption of a handrail.
